i love music. it's one of the few things that can hold a tight grip on my attention for hours on end; listening to my favourite albums, playing my guitar, messing around with synths... it's all so interesting to me. listening to my favourite artists like glass beach, drug bug and sweet trip always makes me so inspired. music just resonates with me in a way other forms of media don't. when it comes to my own music, i really don't have any fancy equipment, but that dosen't stop me from experimenting and having fun!
here is where you will find anything music related that i've made/like; reviews, songs, thoughts, etc. ^_^
breathtaking album. i was introduced to porter robinson by my friend [who's favourite album is nurture] and i can't thank them enough. porter's lyrics are so heartfelt and beautiful, and the central sound of acoustic instruments and synthpop in this album is excellently produced. this album just overtakes you with it's serenenity and message of hope for the future. just incredible through and through.
favourite: get your wish, something comforting
"entr'acte:..." by forest spirit, sun on your back [cover by me]

masterfully produced and written glitch pop shoegaze album. glitchy, chopped up synths and drums form the backbone of songs while dreamy, distorted guitars and angelic vocals contrast while complimenting elegantly.
fav: fruitcake and cookies, chocolate matter

another 5th wave classic. beautiful chamber pop sections mixed with heavily distorted guitars and devstating lyrics, all blanketed by the low fidelity recording. warm and comforting instrumentals with dark, crushing lyrics.
fav: title track, revisited

i can't put into words how amazing and influential this album is to me. desperate vocals shouting for attention over satisfyingly crunchy guitars with hypnotic lead parts, broken up with small, acoustic breaths to not drown in the noise. pure 5th wave emo heaven.
fav: mio, min mio, agatka

my favourite album of all time. it helped me figure out who i am in such a beautiful, honest way that no other album would've done. there is just something in its messy, 5th wave emo, genre-blending sound that has my heart. i love this album to death.
fav: bedroom community, glass beach, dallas, yoshi's island
